Beautifully Simple Package - $400

Small and sweet

Includes:

  • Ceremony held within 15km drive of Beacon Hill NSW (beyond this, see Travel Extras)

  • All costs associated with necessary paperwork and submission of documentation to relevant authorities

  • One face-to-face meeting for consultation and planning

  • Unlimited phone calls

  • 10-minute ceremony

MC package - $400

Includes:

  • Reception or event on any day

  • Face-to-face meeting for consultation and planning

  • Unlimited online meetings and phone calls

  • Liaison with venue and all vendors

  • Full run sheet, including timing

  • Hosting of whole reception or event

  • Full PA system (incl. two microphones, large Bluetooth speaker and stand)

Full Ceremony and MC Package - $1100

Event Package - $400

  • Ceremony on any day

  • Personalised script for ceremony

  • Full PA system (incl. two microphones, large Bluetooth speaker and stand)

For funerals, I will invoice your chosen funeral service provider.

Unless stated otherwise, travel to ceremonies held within a 100km drive of Beacon Hill NSW will be included in the price.

Beyond this, there may be a charge for extra car travel.

For Beautifully Simple (Legals Only) wedding package, car travel beyond 15km of Beacon Hill NSW will be charged at $2.00 per kilometre.

Ceremonies which require an overnight stay may incur an additional fee for accommodation and any travel expenses required beyond driving.

Frequently Asked Questions

I believe the best ceremonies include a perfect blend of laughter and tears.  I have won awards for humorous speaking and will bring extra joy to your ceremony. 

I am known to be efficient, well-organised and always cheerful. 

I am very flexible and will craft a ceremony that matches the style you are looking for.

I love to travel and will go anywhere in Australia. I will travel up to 100km from Beacon Hill (Sydney) at no extra charge.  For distances greater than that, wherever it might be in Australia, see Travel Extras or chat to me about any extra charges that may apply.

For weddings, I will arrive at the venue at least an hour before the ceremony begins.  For other ceremonies, I will arrive at least half an hour before the start.

I will provide, as required and at no extra charge:

  • All paperwork

  • Pens

  • Microphones and Bluetooth PA system (for outdoor and indoor use)

  • Signing table

  • Lectern

  • Copies of all speeches, vows and readings

This will vary depending on what you choose to include.  Usually, it is between 20 and 30 minutes.

Of course! I would love to chat to you about individualising your ceremony.

All couples require the following, which I will provide:

Notice of Intended Marriage – I will complete this with you when we first meet.  I will need to see, from each of you, original copies of either your passport, or your birth certificate and some photo ID.

Declaration of No Legal Impediment – This is a form to say that there is no reason why you should not marry.

Official Certificate of Marriage – Two copies of this will be signed at the wedding by the couple and their two witnesses.

Form 15 Marriage Certificate – This is a ceremonial document which will also be signed at the wedding.

I will chat with you about any other documents which may apply to your circumstances.

There are three parts of a wedding ceremony which are required to ensure you are legally married:

1.     The Monitum – a statement made by the authorised marriage celebrant. This is the wording, with only a very small number of minor changes allowed:

“I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. Before you are joined in marriage in my presence and in the presence of these witnesses, I am to remind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about to enter. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of two people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.”

2.     Legal Vows – This is the minimum wording of the vows to be made by the marrying couple, with only a small number of changes allowed:

“I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, (name of Person 1) take thee (name of Person 2) to be my lawful wedded (wife/husband/spouse).”

3.     Signing the Register – The couple, as well as their two chosen witnesses and the marriage celebrant, must sign two copies of the Official Certificate of Marriage as well as the Form 15 Certificate of Marriage.
